Alterations:

$1.00 per patch including scout patches (please provide patch)

$1.00 per button (please provide button)

$2.00 to $10.00 resewing a hem or seam that came unthreaded.

$10.00 take in or out waist of men's suit pants

$10.00 taper (take in the sides) of formal or casual pants

$10.00 take in men's suit coat.  I don't hem or lengthen men's suit coats. sorry. 

$5.00 Hem/lengthen pants includes: slacks, Jeans (original hem or new hem), pajama, shorts, capri

$10.00 Hem skirt or dress.  More for formal or wedding dress (depends on material)

$10.00 Replace zipper in pants, jeans or unlined skirt.*

$20.00 Replace invisible zipper in formalwear (prom dress, lined skirt or dress, wedding dress)*

$20.00 Replace zipper in lined winter coat.*

$10.00 Replace zipper in young child's coat.*

*Prices don't include cost of zipper. If you provide the zipper then the cost is as stated above. I can purchase the zipper for you if you want, but will add an additional $5.00 to the cost.

Projects:

$15.00 car seat over lay. Please provide material and two packages of bias tape. (1.25 yards material needed. If you want it lined, then double the amount of fabric)

Time:

Please allow me a full week to sew your project/alteration. I can do things faster though if you really need them. I don't sew on Sunday.

   Designed and constructed a maternity temple dress no pattern

   Did alterations: Suit coats, slacks, jeans, winter coat zippers, blankets, patches, skirts, shirts, dresses, buttons,  hemmed everything imaginable...

Hampton Inn in Idaho Falls        2010 - 2011

   I was contracted to hem all bed skirts. 

Helped sew several custom drapes, pillows, cushions, and curtains.    

   A friend of mine who owned her own Custom Drapery business needed help while she was pregnant. I learned a lot! It was Way fun!

Over the past several years I have sewn the following jobs:

Added full back and shoulder straps to formal prom dress. It turned out so cute too!

Reinforced backpack straps

Altered many, many suits

Sewed zippers in jeans, slacks, sweatshirts, winter coats... anything that has a zipper!

Hemmed several Jeans kept original hem by request

Sewed 2 matching children's dresses for a wedding.  9mo and 2 yr.

took in a cheerleading uniform to make it more modest
added pads to a bathing suit to make it more modest
added lining and length to sleeves on a formal dress to make it more modest
Made pattern to add sleeves to a wedding dress, The Bride knew how to sew.  She just wanted me to make the pattern.

Personal:

I am a stay at home Mom of two wonderful little boys and I LOVE it! I love scrapbooking, sewing, singing, and anything made by Apple!
